  1. I think the quote taken alone is fatally flawed. It is fair to say being "right" (which is a virtue associated with truth or wisdom) does not just justify lacking humility (also a virtue). Nonetheless, denying the virtue of truth (assumed to be the case when one is right) does no good in itself and certainly is arguably wrong. What is not captured here is what is the right means one should, with humility, express a right view in response to views held by others. Alternative noble expressions are tolerance, patience, kindness, and perseverence.
